Join Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr. and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department for a Picnic in the Park, an event celebrating the preservation of this unique open space park area.
Thanks to the efforts and dedication of community groups and individuals, Ferry Park was recently transferred to the Recreation and Park Department. This ensures the park will remain an open space area in perpetuity.
The event on Wednesday will feature a dedication ceremony, complimentary picnic lunch, and music for participants.
